Job Description

Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues (e.g., OS errors, network connectivity).
Assist with password resets, account unlocks, and basic user permissions.
Escalate complex issues to IT Desktop Engineer / Head of IT
Install, configure, and update desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Assist with software deployments and license management.
Test and troubleshoot new hardware/software rollouts
Provide in-person/remote support to end-users.
Guide users through basic troubleshooting steps.
Create simple how-to guides or FAQs for common issues.
Perform routine updates, patches, and antivirus scans.
Monitor system performance and report anomalies.
Assist with backup and recovery processes.
Track IT assets (e.g., serial numbers, warranty status).
Update knowledge base articles and inventory logs.
Create and update operational manual, workplan, policy.
Audit equipment for compliance with IT policies.
Oversee and manage quality assurance processes.
Ensure that IT solutions meet the defined requirements and quality standards.
Basic knowledge of Desktop Hardware, Software, security tools, Windows/macOS/Linux OS troubleshooting. Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, Remote Desktop). Exposure to Active Directory or user account management. Ability to assemble/disassemble hardware (e.g., desktops, laptops, peripherals).
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
