Old Chang Kee Launches Salted Egg Taro Mochi'O at Compass One from 1 Sep 2026
Old Chang Kee has launched the Salted Egg Taro Mochi'O, a new pastry created for the Mid-Autumn Festival, priced at $3.80 each or 2 for $6.80. The treat is available from 1 to 30 September 2026 at the Old Chang Kee outlet at Compass One (unit -27).
The flower-shaped puff pastry combines creamy taro and savoury salted egg with a chewy mochi centre, giving the familiar festive favourite a mochi makeover. Labelled "NEW with Mochi!", the pastry is known in Chinese as 咸蛋芋泥麻薯角, a reference to its salted egg, taro and mochi filling.
