Sizzling Saver was a hit! 🔥 Tried the $56.90 premium platter at Yakiniku Like — totally worth it! The A5 Wagyu Karubi was melt-in-your-mouth good, and the mix of meats and veggies grilled up beautifully. Even my kids said it’s “better than Korean BBQ!” 😆 The only thing is — you cook it yourself, but at this price point, it’s definitely worth it for the quality and experience. Great for a fun family meal!

This is the 1st time I've had a Japanese BBQ and I'm impressed. 1st, you can pick and choose whatever meat you want from the ala carte menu, which is great cos some people can eat more, some people less. You pay the amount that you eat. 2nd, if you're too lazy to choose, they have sets that you can choose from. 3rd, doesn't matter which option you choose, they are so value for $$. I didn't expect the meat is this good yet at such affordable price. And taste good too. Will definitely be back again.

The cashier, Ivy was helpful, friendly, and welcoming despite she was so busy at the counter. I’ll definitely be bringing my family back to this branch soon! Thank you Ivy.

2nd visit on 19th Feb'25, (after 1 month) service was super much great and friendly. The guy at the cashier asked us *are we the member* in fact, 1st time being asked and he shared member sign up was free and definitely this service make me wanted to come back again.....the 2nd server who assist to bring the food to us was also friendly and provide great service. Is so much appreciated vs 1st visit.....thank you guys Our first visit to yakiniku located at compass 1. So far, compare to other outlet the staff really very slow. At 530pm, restaurant are not so busy. There are a family of 4 beside us and only the daddy food not ready. When our meal was also 50% , then they served drink and we decided to cancel the drink as is was bottle drink while other restaurant provide it in a cup that tastes better. Service experience was not good as we waited almost 20min for food when restaurant are not even busy. For food experience so far 3/ 5, there is blood mark on the beef that we ordered. But they provide a lot of sauce that confirms tasted awesome esp the spicy sauce! The miso soup is really nice, and the perfect pairing the beef as for portion i would said what you get is what you paid for. Their food portion was not so big, if you are a big eater then I suggest you add on beef; pork or even chicken.

I would like to compliment Carolyn for her exceptional service during our recent visit to the restaurant. She was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant dining experience. What stood out most was her initiative—she promptly cleared our empty dishes without us needing to ask, and thoughtfully offered to clean a sauce bottle when she noticed my husband holding it with a wet tissue. Small gestures like these truly reflect her attentiveness and professionalism. Thanks to Carolyn, our meal was not just enjoyable, but memorable. She is a gem, and we hope to see her again on our next visit!

I just want to share my frustration as someone who sometimes eats alone. The queue system here seperates 1-2 pax and 3-5pax. I understand it is to distribute the tables for bigger groups. But I see estimated waiting time as 10-20 mins. Have waited for 40 mins and counting, and see bigger groups that came later than me entering first. The food here is good, and the price is also not too bad, but this customer experience is the worst. I understand its peak dinner hour, but how would you feel if you waited 40 mins while seeing those groups enter within 15 mins? I don't know if anything can be changed, that is up to management and logistics to figure out, but I'm just disappointed and want to share this experience. TLDR; got my queue number at 6.58pm, not yet seated at 7.44pm....im still here because of sunk cost fallacy. My suggestion, at least look at time stamps of what time your customers had got the queue number, if it has been longer than anticipated, at least prioritise the smaller groups that came earlier even if u had to use a bigger table. EDIT at 7.48pm - Literally saw someone from the moment they got seated to the moment they paid... Can u tell I'm pissed. UPDATE at 8.18pm - Food not here, look at the pic for time order was placed.

Didn’t take photos because I didn’t think I will do up a review.. but I am so willingly doing this because IVY was sooooo good as a staff here!! She’s a gem in the service line. Whichever company has her is a blessing. She is cheerful, polite, serves with a heart and can see she does her best in her work ◡̈ thank you for serving me and my family!’ 😀 For the food wise, the meat is well prepped and miso soup has enough vege. Buffet made me feels satisfied! Don’t stop it!! Will come back, surely!

Staff here not interested to work at all. Stood at entrance, 5 staffs saw us and told us to wait, while the restaurant is empty, no one wants to key in at the counter and print the QR code. Asked 2 staffs for new pepper, this is what they gave us. If not interested to work, just close down the place, don’t give customer attitude or bad service.

Returning to my personal go-to-place (Compass One Yakiniku-Like) to satisfy my BBQ craving. Highly recommended for their value for money set meals that are available to order from. Shoutout to the team and Manager Jasline for the service and food provided. Will be returning again soon….
