Test Solutions Engineering (TSE) SSD Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities and Tasks:-

• Responsible for Test TOR (Tool of Record) equipment sites support, evaluation, solving and installation.
• Fan out Best Known Method to all sites in TOR procedures, deficiencies and designs/implements improvements.
• Work closely with Key Equipment Group, Process Engineering and Site Equipment Maintenance team to develop and support new process/technology implementation.
• Work with vendors to address manufacturing issues of spares delivery, quality, performance and organizational change.
• Lead and coordinate priorities and activities to accomplish project tasks in your area(s) of responsibility.
• Balance priorities and enhancements to improve business processes and existing global systems.
• Monitor process efficiency and equipment OEE, find opportunities for improvement.
• Track metrics for benchmarking Performance. Identify and share BKMs across sites and track compliance to alignment.
• Supports TOR Equipment OS (Operating Software) and new software releases.
• Supports evaluation on NPI (New Product Introduction), new technologies and equipment to improve current toolsets and methods.
• Responsible for mentoring site equipment owners to take up new projects in Copy Smart Team (CST).
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and address issues with equipment and material vendors.
• Have a positive attitude and growth mindset. To be independent and determined in projects/tasks assigned.
• Occasional need to travel to support relevant projects/deployment

​Requirements:-

• Bachelors or Masters in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Mechanical design or Automation core skill.
• Knowledge of Backend manufacturing TEST equipment and processes.
• Good understanding of equipment electrical/mechanical fundamental such as: electronics circuit, infra-structure, mechanical functions, equipment reliability and predictive maintenance.
• Excellent in problem analysis and decision-making ability. Experienced in 8D problem solving method.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools: Decision Analysis, RA (Risk Assessment), FMEA (Failure Mode Effective Analysis) and change management process.
• Experience in collaboration with cross-discipline stakeholders preferred.

May be responsible for establishing and conducting testing routines, developing or executing project plans, budgets, and schedules, and documentation of work and results.
