Singaporeans love going to Taiwan and the number 1 thing to do is to eat their local delicacies. 卤肉饭,fried chicken cutlet, bubble tea etc. Everything is sooo good. Since the borders are closed due to covid, where can locals satisfy their crave for taiwanese cuisine? Well there are many taiwanese food around but which ones are the most similar to the authentic taiwanese food? Look no further from 呷三碗(Eat 3 Bowls ). Owned by a singaporean man who married his taiwanese wife, this couple has turned things around in the local taiwanese cuisine. Before having “eat 3 bowls”, i think most are not bad but nothing compared to the real taiwanese version. Their lu rou fan is their signature. The meat and rice blend in so well that you cant wait to eat somemore. It is that good. There is also shredded chicken rice. Wah it is really fragrance. It goes very well and i can eat another bowl. To complete the set, try the mee sua, it come very close with the famous one at ximending. Even the side dishes like the cabbage is soo soft and good. Personally, i have tasted better milk tea else where. So this is something they can improve. If i can eat something again and again but the standard doesnt drop, it is jiak sa wa. You need to try it to be a believer. Superb is an understatement. #twfood

I came on off peak hours, around 2pm. Food served was piping hot! Love the braised meat rice and its to the point. Chilli padi make the rice more shiok! Recommend to add them and i cannot bear to leave the rice alone(although i am on a diet)...so yummy!!!

The staff is very friendly. The quality of food is great as well. My kids love the 卤肉饭 a lot, like those what we have eaten in Taiwan. 😊❤️ It's definitely worth the price! We have came here for numerous times. 👍🏾👍🏾

💕Alot of intestines... yumyum. Healthier as less corn flour in mee sua... 🥢 Hoping this chicken cutlet's better than ShiLin - Average.

Glad we came to try it today. The food is tastefully done. Proportion of food is right and most importantly, price is very reasonable considering the generous servings and quality of food. Margaret Tang

Food is decent the sauce for the pork chop is too sweet, Mee Sua sauce is a tad too flavourful.

my go-to spot for Taiwanese cuisine in Singapore. Every dish we ordered is bursting with flavor, perfectly balanced and expertly executed. Whether you're indulging in their signature Lu Rou Fan, slurping up their comforting Braised Pork Belly Noodles, or savoring their fragrant Three-Cup Chicken, each bite is a delight for the senses. What truly sets Eat 3 Bowls apart is its commitment to authenticity. Even my friend from Taiwan, who is notoriously picky about Taiwanese food, couldn't help but praise the restaurant for its faithful recreation of traditional flavors. It's a testament to the dedication and skill of the chefs behind the scenes. The staff is warm, friendly, and always eager to ensure a pleasant dining experience for every guest. The cozy ambiance adds to the overall charm, making it the perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or a cozy date night. In summary, if you're craving authentic Taiwanese cuisine in Singapore, look no further than Eat 3 Bowls. It's not just good—it's downright satisfying, and quite possibly the best Taiwanese food you'll find in Singapore.

I dined in and had the Signature Eat 3 Bowls ($14.50 nett) and Hashbrown Egg Crepe Roll ($5.80 nett). Signature Set: The Braised Pork Rice melted well in my mouth. The Shredded Chicken Rice was even better because of how brilliantly the sauce blended into both the protein and the rice to give them extra flavour. Finally, the Oyster Mee Sua is pretty neat as well; I loved the "soup" it was in. If you want just one of these, you can order it ala carte and you'll get a bigger portion version of the dish. Others: The Hashbrown Egg Crepe Roll was reasonable, I don't think it's the best crepe roll they have. The place is pretty small, but doesn't feel as small as it physically is. The ambience is a bit noisy because of the small space, but won't affect your eating experience. No service charge and no GST is a bonus upside!
