I strongly agree with Janet and Nick on the staff rudeness and aloofness, especially the younger one, who handle the cash register. Today, I purchased 2 pieces of cake. No response from any of them when I placed my orders. Just then, a guy customer walked past me into the puff area. I repeated my order and the cashier raised her voice "first come first served'. I was so angry that I ticked her off and claimed that the guy came after me, she kept quiet but continued to serve the guy first. I am not dismay by the wait but her remark. She could have been more polite and diplomatic. I wonder whether are your front staff train in customer service. Please be reminded that you are not selling cake in a wet market. Some wet market stall holder provides better customer services than your staff. Please learn from your neighbor stalls, Mr Bean and Old Chang Kee on how to serve customers.

I love their banana cake , marble cake , butter cake and their puff pastries too. It's very scrumptious, personally for me I don't really rate restaurants/bakeries based of customer service. I mainly rate it based on their food or if their food is good enough to make up for poor customer service. For polar , I didn't really see their poor service. So it's a 4 star for me. The reason I gave them a 4 star is because , I feel like the banana cake tastes a bit different now
