Like that it is inside Encik tan so can get fast food and rice/noodles in the same meal.
First time getting wings combo, feel like it’s abit too dry and portion is quite small.
Love the biscuits and mash potato as usual.
Ps: they were giving out free large cheese fries for reviews. But was not obligated to give good reviews.

Chicken is fresh and crispy. No complaints. However, you do not know when your food is ready! No number on sign board, the staffs just ring the bell at counter expecting you know that your food has arrived; not even shouting out the number.

Bad. I am devastated because this outlet at compass one was one of the best popeyes I ever had for the past year (2024). The last time I had it was some time in October. The chicken was always tender and not too oily and skin very delicious. Biscuits were perfect.
Today is not the same ... The chicken has become a lot worse. Not sure is it different staff or if kitchen practices changed. The chicken is HARD - the meat and skin are like basically soaked in oil and clearly cooked/fried for too long. The chicken they gave me was a drum+wing combination 1 piece and breast 1 piece. It was also very dry. The drum+wing piece had barely any meat in it.
The biscuits we bought are also different than before. It used to be nicely soft but also crispy. Now it is undercooked, it is dry and no crisp to it.
Tenders are also not tender at all. It is like rock solid!!!!
Hoping that this is once off as I always liked this outlet. Please review..

Terrible experience. It would be great if you could send your staff (Halizah) to get basic manners training and an eye check up. She is constantly rolling her eyes at me and frowning. This is the kind of person that all customers hate. She refused to exchange the undercooked chicken when I politely requested it, but eventually did so unwillingly and THREW the food back on the counter with an annoyed expression. hello??? Last I checked, I didn't owe her any money eh? Food being thrown on the counter is unacceptable, her manners are lacking. I understand everyone has bad days sometimes, but being understanding of someone who is rude like her is not necessary. Totally uncalled for and extremely rude. Did not choose to argue because there is no point in arguing with someone like her.
Your staff quality needs to be checked.

I used to love this place. I’ve had it at least 5 times before. Chicken used to be tender and biscuits delicious.
Today I ordered takeaway for dinner. Food was barely edible.
The “tenders” were harder than the biscuit, seem to be fried with too much batter and then refried or at left out for so long that the oil hardened.
2 pc Chicken skin same story. Chicken meat was miserable, one of the smallest and saddest drumsticks I’ve gotten.
Burger patty was alright, but definitely not tender or fresh tasting.
Biscuits somehow were also worse. Tasted flour-y and undercooked. How do you mess up a biscuit??
I’m upset at how bad my meal was but I’m more sad that this place has fallen so far. If management is reading, please (un)do something.

Went to packed early dinner after my work around 4plus to 5pm. A male young staff was attended to me, I wanna say a good service to him! Keep it up for the continuation of service. I will definitely come back again 🤗

Order online for more the $40 worth of food. Chicken so hard like stone. Burger the chicken patty is super hard too. Don't know what time they cook and keep then send out for delivery. Not worth and won't buy again. Regret scammers
