It’s our first time at Compass One. I wanted a Korean haircut w bangs for my eleven year old girl and we are glad to have Fiona Cho, a senior stylist who is utmost patient as she listen to my girl needs and also the many pictures my girl showed her to articulate the final look. Will be back in future . She also showed us how to blow and style the hair so patiently. Thank you so much Fiona!

I was walking past Style Na by Joel Park @ Compass One after dinner and decided to get a trim to shoulder length with layers to add volume at the back. Since this was a significant change, I specifically requested an experienced Korean hair stylist.
However, instead of assigning me a skilled professional, they gave me Fiona, who turned out to be inexperienced and barely understood or spoke English. This immediately raised concerns, but I still patiently explained my request. She then showed me a picture on an iPad, and after confirming with her again that she could achieve that style, she confidently said yes. I trusted her big mistake.
The hair wash was mediocre, there was no head massage, and at one point, the water temperature suddenly turned scalding hot, burning my scalp. That should have been my first warning sign, but I hoped the haircut would at least go well.
It only got worse. Instead of using scissors to layer my hair properly, Fiona used a blade to drag and pull at my hair in the most painful and uncomfortable way possible. When I told her it hurt, she simply said it was for “more texture.” At that point, I was skeptical and uneasy, but I just prayed it wouldn’t turn out badly.
After paying S$59.95, I was devastated to see that the final result looked NOTHING like the picture she showed me. My hair was choppy, uneven, and a complete mess. Left side was overly layered and the right side was a big whole chunk… it was absolutely ruined.
To make matters even worse, when I asked for her name card, she casually told me she was a new stylist!
If you treasure your hair, avoid this salon at all costs. The lack of skill, painful cutting technique, and complete disregard for my request made this an absolute waste of time and money. Never again!

Lisa has been my go-to hairstylist for years, and I can confidently say she’s the only one I fully trust with my hair. She always knows exactly what I want. My hair is naturally thin and flat, but she somehow works her magic every time and gives it volume and life! ✨️

Had my first hair colouring experience, booked with Fiona after seeing reviews. She patiently recommended colours and style for me, despite the language barrier. It turned out really nice! My first experience there was without specifying a stylist, which ended slightly below expectations as the stylist was somewhat dismissive when telling me my hair was not long enough for the cut or for highlights. But that maintenance cut was helpful nonetheless. Will come back!

I asked for a two layer cut with layered bangs, what i got instead was choppy layers which made my hair so thin at the end. I even showed a sample image.The stylist was ready with scissors even before I finished explaining. She hardly took a second to glance at the picture. Didn’t even wash the hair before cutting. Washed it after the cut and didn’t even check if the cut was even after the wash. Just blew dry. I will not be returning here again
The cut is so sloppy I will have to chop my length off

Recently started going to Style Na from a recommendation and they never disappoint !! I had Stylist Wendy in the past and currently I Stylist Luna is serving me, and both a great work on my hair. They did my hair according to the reference I showed, and they also gave good advice and clarification about the haircut. All the staff here are very friendly and sweet. Would definitely recommend and come back! 🤍

saw all the other reviews & cannot explain how much it relates.
booked a last min appointment for just a trim & wash. went in telling the lady (the manager Winnie) i wanted to just TRIM the ends & make my hair thinner, as well as wash & blow.
First off, she was ridiculously violent & rough. is she trying to look cool as a stylist? because all she did was fling my hair repeatedly into my eyes & pull my head around. yes she is fast but DID NOT follow my instructions. she told me "will just trim the ends and shape abit since you dont have any layers." so i said okay because i js wanted trim & thinning because of my thick hair. i already had a nice shape & length i like, just wanted to get the mess fixed up. I left the salon feeling okay but doubtful. i gave it the benefit of the doubt & told myself to trust the process, because she blew it out for me nicely at first. but take note hours after you leave its EXTREMELY messy. she makes my hair super curly in the blowout even though i always have and only like straight hair. she knew i had a center parting but KEPT REPEATEDLY giving me a side high volume parting which is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous & ugly. came home & i found out she cut so many layers that i can even tie my hair anymore because it is so short & layered that makes everything just falls out. the top of my head is sooo thick & puffy & the ends are so thin & flat because she only did thinning to my roots. i specifically said only trim the ends & she RESHAPED my curtain bangs that ive been trying to grow out for almost a year to match my hair length as i didnt want it anymore. now i have to deal with curtain bangs again, even worse is that my hair is now back to its original curl after rebonding weared off after a few years & is extremely hard to maintain. thanks to this lady i now have a hard time pulling off this ugly hairstyle. absolutely do not recommend coming here. she did not followed a single piece of instruction & it only looked good for the first hour. i have been trying so many ways to work with getting my bangs out of my face as well as tie up my hair properly for work. i am extremely frustrated & disappointed ever since i got home.
in summarise for those wanting to go here:
1. rough & violent (pulling ur head, doing it so quick that she will pull your whole head left & right)
2. followed whatever she wanted at liked instead of what i asked for
3. did it so quick yet jts so messy and ugly
4. nothing like i imagined i wanted.

all i wanted was a trim, thinning & wash & blow out. but instead i left with unwanted layers, reshaping, drastic length changed, cutting my bangs as how you want even tho i didnt ask to touch the bangs (i taught she was trimming but now its shorter than i first got it even...) & most of all not even gentle in handling patients head & hair, does she think that im the mannequin & she's practicing her speed on my head? im not in a rush, so why should she be when i have an appointment slot? next time i would rather pay $12 for KCuts. absolutely ridiculous.

I’ve been going to Style Na Hair Salon for six years now, and Wendy’s honestly one of the most meticulous stylists there. If you’re thinking of cutting your hair short, definitely go to her. She really understands short hairstyles and does a great job at cutting the look you want. Short hair, especially more layered ones isn’t something every stylist can pull off well, but Wendy’s amazing at it. My mum’s been going to her too, and she completely agrees with me :)

Have been visiting StyleNa at Compass One for quite a while for hair colouring and treatment. My stylist Lisa is always attentive and gives good suggestions to what hair colour and style to take hence I feel very comfortable with her managing my hair. Friends have also commented the hair cut she did was really nice.
