Music Instructor

Sonare Music School is looking for qualified and dedicated piano teachers to join our warm family of music teachers!

Job description:

- Weekly practical AND theory lessons with students

- Exam preparation and registration

- Communication and progress tracking with students and parents

- Organisation of weekly timetable

- Other administrative duties based on additional skills

Requirement:

Teaching is a long-term commitment.

Teachers are also required to work at least Saturday and/or Sundays due to peak periods and the nature of teaching

- MINIMUM Gr. 8 in Practical (from a reputable exam board)

- MINIMUM Gr. 8 in Music Theory (from a reputable exam board)

- Pass in O levels (or equivalent qualification)

- Good personal organisational skills

- Good interpersonal communication skills

- Teaching experience is preferred

- Empathetic to different learning styles and of parents' concerns

- Any additional skills or background are favourable.
