Music School Retail and Customer Service Assistant

Sonare Music School is looking for diligent, self-motivated individuals with good organisational and communication skills.

Job Description:

- Retail of music instruments, related accessories, lessons, books etc.

- Student-related admin duties (ie. scheduling, registration for exams etc.)

- Cashiering functions (ie issuing receipts for transactions, opening and closing shop accounts)

- Communications with students, teachers and walk-in customers

- Maintaining inventory and CRM records

- Basic accounting duties

- General housekeeping duties

- Stock and display organisation

- other operational ad-hoc duties (eg. Basic music instrument servicing)

- Weekend commitment preferred

- Off-day on weekday

Job requirements:

- able to work on weekends

- no minimum qualifications or work experience required

- Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel etc.)

- Interest in music, or music knowledge is encouraged/preferred!

- long-term commitment preferred

- good interpersonal/ communication skills to work with students/parents, co-worker and teachers

- good organisational skills

- any other miscellaneous skills are preferable (eg. photo-editing, social media, graphic design etc.)
