Kept an open mind when I visited this restaurant for the first time. Realised that not all the food there are bad. The soups (tomato and corn) are absolutely diluted, something to avoid ordering. Otherwise the pasta and rice items are okay. Pizza is so so. Not much of a service there, just like Saizeriya.

IT IS A SCAM, DONT FALL FOR THE PICTURES. horrible, pizza was average and the cheesecake was inedible, cldnt even finish half of it. tasted like a block of cheese?! 🤢 super disappointed at the pricing and quality of food after hoping that it would somewhat taste like saizeriya since theres no saizeriya in compass one. even costs more expensive compared to saizeriya!!

Pls do not be fool by the photos in the menu. What you get is far from what you expected.Ordered a takoyaki and fully disappointed with the order. The octopus was chopped in smaller pieces and the filling was uncooked. I can foresee that this f&b is going to bite the dust unless they change their cook!

Don’t be misled by the price or the photos on the menu. The pizza didn’t have enough toppings, and the crust was as hard as a biscuit. The paella had burnt, tough rice. Both dishes were completely lacking in flavour. The only thing that was okay was the carbonara pasta. Not recommended 👎🏼 p/s: even coffeeshop food taste 100 times better

I’m a regular here. I’m giving my honest opinion here after seeing so many negative reviews saying that their food is worse than Saizeriya.
In my opinion, the food here is definitely better than Saizeriya. Why? The staff are friendly, and the food quality is quite decent, especially considering they use fresher ingredients. The pasta is made from scratch — springy and chewy — unlike many other places that rely on store-bought pasta, which tends to be hard and dry. So I can understand why they charge more for their pastas. Tried their pizzas (thicker dough base) and it’s 100 times better than Saizeriya (thin gooey wrap).
However, the fried chicken cutlet was a little too dry, likely due to the use of chicken breast. Using chicken thigh instead would result in a juicier and more flavorful dish. The fries were good — they weren’t greasy or sour-tasting, which shows care was taken in preparation.
Overall, it’s clear there’s effort behind the ingredients and presentation. The only area that really needs improvement is the cooking method. Keep it up and don’t let those negative reviews affect you! 5 stars for the effort! 💪🏻

Service was the only good thing about this place. Food portion was small, taste was horrible, and it's pricey! Should change the chef or the recipe. Ordered seafood paella, salmon pizza and chicken mentaiko pasta. The paella's seafood wasn't fresh, rice was hard on the top layer but underneath was mushy and wet.. 🤢 salmon pizza was so-so. As for the mentaiko pasta, the sliced chicken's appearance looked like mushrooms, texture and taste was strange 😶
I guess this restaurant won't last for long..
I can get better food and bigger portion at saizeriya at a cheaper price 😫

The place is somehow a budget-friendly japanese restaurant. Food are acceptable, but don't understand why 2 out of 3 dishes for kids meal is beef. For someone who doesn't take beef, this is one area which might need to look into.
The inner section is a bit hot. If happens to sit there, it could be quite uncomfortable to eat at that section.

[08.02.2025] I'm a chef with over 10years experience, not some wannabe food blogger. I would say it's not worth it. Squid ink scallop pasta($9.90), tom yum paella($10.90), truffles pizza($10.90), free flow drinks($3.90)per pac. Squid ink taste is ok but not good, but portion is really very little, tom yum paella don't have tom yum nor seafood taste, again the portion is really very small. U will be surprise when u scoop the rice, and it's just a thin layer of rice. Truffles pizza has no truffle taste, only mushroom taste, and is super small and thin. Even my wife find every meal is children portion food. I will not come back here to eat again until when the portion and food tast quality has improve. Sorry but really not worth it.

The first impression is like Saizeriya. There are a lot of selections from the menu but the price is more expensive.
I tasted the chicken sausage and beef bolognese and were quite salty. The kids prefer Saizeriya Cheese Sausage over this. The cheese on the pizza is not to my liking, the same goes for my family.
If you haven't tried it, don't mind giving it a try as my taste might be different from others. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend this.

No ventilation at all. Placing stationary fan on table is not a solution. Hygiene issues too, disposable napkins given was dirty. After pointing that out, was given fresh ones. But still, service was subpar. Food was not tasty at all.
