The cashier was super rude 🤬. She was a service staff and suppose to provide proper customer service.
While was trying to make payment via Paywave and there was errors despite trying a few times which wasn't sure what's the issue at that point of time. The issue could be coming from their POS or whatever.
While facing issue, the cashier immediately shown impatient and very rudely shouting at me saying "cannot", I was trying to move away from the queue while trying to open up Paynow instead to make the payment but she shouted at me again.
As an result, I argued back and walk away without making any purchase
Truely hope the shop manager or even the management team can relook at their customer service training or even when hiring. Think they took it for granted with the brand already.

Old Chang Kee is a popular shop selling fast moving local fried snacks.
It is situated opposite the entrance of Compass One Sengkang MRT at lvl one.
The entrance to the train station is directly opposite. So you will find several customers after exiting the gates making a beeline to queue for the snacks.
I'm not a fan of OCK. Unless I'm in a terrible hurry and there is nothing else to eat, I'll skip ock.
Social distancing rules are being followed. Staff are not rude. The food that is on display finishes really fast. At any time of the day you can see queues with people waiting patiently outside the shop to buy their favourite snack.

Shopback gave promotion this weekend with min $2 at OCK. But OCK said Shopback is not working and they covered the QR code with their OCK plastic bag. I scanned using Shopback app and it is fine. When questioned they simply said don’t know, just instructed to say Shopback is not working.

I usually will buy some snacks on my way back home at 8pm+.
I got a bad attitude from a auntie Ms Ong if I'm not wrong. Can't see her name tag clearly from far.
I know is a small matter but is her attitude 😱😱🤦🤦 her staring that make me blow my mind. 🤯🤯🤯.
Service line... . Her attitude is not accepted.
Food is nice but service is important too. I will not buy from there anymore.
Below is briefly what happened on 13/4/25 Sunday at 8.55pm Compass one.
I order my stuff at first went well but she is not pay attention which I repeated my order again.Then I pay and go. But half way walking, I checked my purchase and 1 item is short. 😳
So I went back again. The cashier auntie who knows me said why you back again. I reply, item order not given, missing order, auntie dreaming in hokkien.
Then the other auntie who missed my item stare at me with her eye so big that want to eat me up. The cashier auntie said may be never heard it. I accepted her reply but not the packer. Not a single word from her just staring . OMG.
Then I remark bad service. I walked off with my purchase. But I return back and asked to speak to the manager wanting to express my unhappiness. Then I heard she saying want complain complain lor.
I asked for the manager but got replied manger not in.
Then the staff carry on her cleaning.
I have no choice and to leave the store.

My fav chicken wing is from OCK.
But the price is getting higher and higher.
$2.30 for a chicken wing. Soon I will stop buying....doesn't make sense anymore as I could pay a bit more and get a full meal elsewhere instead.

This is the first time I visited this place after a COCROACHES were found in their curry puffs. It didn't end well.
I just went to Old Chang Kee Sengkang compass one outlet. I ordered a sardine puff and a chicken-mushroom puff. The lady behind counter took the order and started mumbling something in Chinese. Later I came home and I realized I ve been given a curry puff and some kebab. Consideringy dietary needs I had to throw them away.
Racism in a different form? I don't know.

The 2 aunties at compass one did not wear hand gloves n their hands touches all the food. I was there on Wednesday April 9 at 423pm n was queuing n I saw them without hand gloves n I told the aunties their hands touches all foods. Than she wear her hand gloves. The cashier touches all notes n coins n than her hands kenna all the foods too. It’s disgusting. 🤮 .

Was served by an attitude old lady named Teng. Was disgusted by her attitude and how she kept starring at me yesterday. I hope one day she will be yelled at by customer to make her realized her attitude issue.

cheap and delicious snacks. 💬 The staffs are polite and provides fast services. There are lots of tasty snacks and one of my favorites is the chunky chicken pops ($3.8) 🐔 which I would recommend if you never tried. 🙂👍

Bought two SAF day limited edition Cheezy Chicken Curry Camou Puffs from Old Chang Kee outlet at Compass One today night with my brother paying $5.60 using PayLah app as a SAFRA member. In addition, the puffs are brown, light green and black in colour to resemble the Singapore Armed Forces shirt. The service from the cashier was very good although I had waited very patiently.
