I used to enjoy Paradise Hotpot at Compass One years ago, but this recent visit was a complete disappointment. The standard has dropped drastically while the prices have gone up.
We paid for the premium set, only to find it came with just one type of beef. And it was a terrible cut, full of veins, extremely tough and completely bland. The prawns were embarrassingly small, stale and had a powdery texture that made it hard to believe they were fresh.
What made it worse was the service and dining restrictions. Although it is an 80-minute dining limit, we waited 20 minutes just for the soup to be served. That left us with barely an hour to eat, for a price of S$45.60 per person.
The food choices were limited and nowhere near what you would expect from a hotpot chain charging premium prices. It felt rushed, overpriced and utterly underwhelming.
This place has gone from a decent hotpot spot to a complete letdown. I will never return to Paradise Hotpot again and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Made a reservation in advance, so we didn’t have to wait for a table. Ordered the premium set, the selection was quite extensive, but the quality of the meat was underwhelming. The pork had a strong, distinct flavor that might not suit everyone. Condiment options were limited, but adequate. Service was excellent; plates were cleared promptly.

Thought that since is part of the Paradise Group, this place would be great and similar to the Canton Paradise, but we were wrong. This place is dull color, the seats are low, the soup bases have different names, but the broth is the same (poured from the same kettle), the sauce bar has only few ingredients, therefore the flavors are quite similar. Here you must order the premium option to get more types of meats, but in this option, there’s only one type of beef. The service is ok, the people working there are not very enthusiastic (although helpful when asked something). The guy that picks up the trash, puts his cart full of residues right next to our clean food and the environment doesn’t seem very cheerful, perhaps a technique to make you want to eat less. Anyway, overall was ok and we would not recommend it if you are looking for a good hot pot experience.

Visited for a late lunch 6 July 2025, and tried our luck walking in. We (2pax) were seated fairly quickly, but had to wait 15–20 minutes before any of our food was served.(we had then ordered into online order system while waiting to be seated).
At the end of our meal, we ordered dessert and waited another 20–25 minutes with nothing served. I checked with a server in an orange uniform (the only one in orange, the rest were in black) who told us it would take 20 minutes. We waited.
After a total wait of 45 minutes, I asked a lady in a jacket (who seemed to be the manager), and was told the dessert still wasn’t ready — unless we were willing to wait another 20 minutes for it to defrost.
Also, they changed the quality of the beef. I will not go back there again as we ordered premium set but the quality of the beef is horrible.
Seriously, what is going on here? Obviously, market is not in the best condition now, since many F&b closed down and I could get a table easily, without making any reservation. But the service…? The service and coordination clearly need improvement. Unacceptable and wasted so much time waiting and need reminders. I would go to a better place for better quality food, even it is to cost more!

Selection of food is great and the variety of the cooked food is fantastic. The vegetables are fresh. Curry fish balls are nice. A special mention to Qiu Yan who served my friend and myself during the dinner session on 19 Apr. She did not rush us even though I was finishing the remaining pork slices while her colleagues were clearing the place to prepare to close the restaurant for the day. The queueing location outside the restaurant can be quite stuffy with no wind breeze passing through due to the design of the Punggol Coastal Mall.

Shop opens at 11:30 and in order for you to get the special promo you need to place your first order by 11:45. By the time we were seated we literally have only 5mins to decide what soup we want. Its so rush 😣 we opted for the premium seafood/beef and was disappointed cos the seafood option only prawns and crabstick lol. The price diff is not much but id have expected more for an ‘upgrade’. Will be better if they have more variety. Got better hotpot options nowadays with the same price and more variety.
The soup is quite delicious ingredients are pretty fresh as well.
The fried pork literally all fats 🙃
Dessert only have icecream 😉
The vivo outlet puts this outlet to shame :(

Dine here today on National Day for our secondary school gathering and it was crowded with people we didn’t make any reservation. We are a group of 8 but staff Xiu Qin was very patient when explaining to us and arrange a table within an hour. During the dining period, all the staff was very pro active. Overall we have a great time spend over here.

Although this branch looks smaller compared to the new outlet at Punggol coast. But they have seats for bigger groups. The variety of condiment stations is smaller and lesser compared to the new branch, but the staff is friendly here. We started to have our meal here I think more than 7yrs. My recent visit was for my kid's birthday. She loves hotpot paradise, she picks this restaurant. We have a big group of 9. So glad we able to gets big tAble and we really enjoyed.

$29.90++ for the meal, not many choices though. Didn’t like the tomato soup, very mediocre. But the pickled vege soup was good. The pork was so thinly sliced, you need to order quite a few plates to make sure you have enough protein. Service was slow towards the end of 80 mins dining time. But shoutout to one of the servers, we asked for 2 pieces of mantou, instead of the whole plate, and she served us just 2.
