I have been a fan of Ajisen Ramen since they started in Singapore many years ago. Affordable price for a decent bowl of ramen. It has been a while since I had it (About a year). So I brought my family for dinner 2 days ago at the Compass One outlet. We ordered 3 x Ajisen Cha Shu Ramen (My boys and I wanted the extra Cha Shu) and 1 x Tom Yam Ramen with sides for each order. The sides were Chicken Cutlet, Gyoza, Cuttlefish, and Fried Prawn. I must say that the service was fast and decent, but the standard of the food has dropped quite a lot over the year. The broth of the cha shu ramen tasted quite bland (it doesn't taste rich), and the cha shu was extremely dry and lean. The meat texture was not good at all. I found that the portion of the sides was a little small. Overall, I find that the quality and standard are below average. It seems like the company has lost its passion for producing good food. I find it rather sad. I hope they can pick up their standards again.

Overall food experience was good. Pricing is fair for quality and portion of the food. They offer set meal which is worth to try.

I really wanted to give ajisen a chance as i have not eaten it for years. Came today on 21 july 2025. Sad to say the quality is not there. For a $20 set meal, it feels and taate like something you'd expect from a hawker centre quality noodle and broth.
Can understand why the brand is failing and with the low quality food stigma, isnt helping its image.
If you try other ramen chain brands, you will see the noodle and broth difference.
I am sorry but i really tried to give it one last chance but it really does not meet expectations.

What ever u do dont order the oden set you can eat yong tau hu with better things for this price. Made from left over parts that people dont often order. One piece of ota fish cake, half a hot dog not even japanese sausage like in the pics just some NTUC one. 2 taopok not even japanese style, basically just NTUC set. Meat ball from left over donki meat ball. And one onsen egg which if u leave it in the heating pot will be come hard boil egg. @ajisenramen please stick to ramen.

Food portions has dropped dramatically especially the pork chops size and Taste is also disappointing. 11 April 2025 Friday dinner dining with my family of 4. I don’t think we will be back again. Use to be my family favourite restaurant @ CCK lot 1

The gyoza set came out soggy and not fried properly. Normally we expect japanese gyoza to be hot and crispy, not soggy and lukewarm.
Nankotsu ramen had decent noodles and soup but the meat had a strange aftertaste and texture. I suspect the meat is not fresh.
Not worth it for the price. I feel people zhould eat LeNu instead.

We had our late lunch there earlier. There was no queue getting a table.
Ordering was done via an app after QR scan.
We ordered pork chop ramen, cha shu ramen set meal, and chicken cutlet cheese baked rice set meal.
Food waiting time was not that long as there were few customers.
The ramen was nice, and the cheese baked rice was delicious. The grape soda and iced lemon tea were nice, too.
Will try other foods next time.

We had always ordered their ramen. Noodle and soup on point. My kid decided to try their baked cheese rice for a change. Turns out pretty good - satisfying cheese pull tomato rice with crispy battered chicken cutlet.

Ajisen Ramen is a ramen shop with quite good ramen for somewhat pricy but worth it costs, I had their ramen set with takoyaki and a fresh cold cup of lemon tea, ramen was flavourful and more then I expected, takoyaki was good as always and the lemon tea was not sour so that’s good. Tables clean as always and staff is good as usual, overall good ramen shop if you just want some good, authentic ramen.

Frequently dine in Ajisen, one of my favourite stores to go in Compass One. Always order the Tom yam ramen, char siu Ramen, kimchi ramen, curry ramen. The baked teriyaki chicken rice is delicious too. One of the convenient and to go restaurant, kids friendly. The service is also quite good, friendly and respectful staff.

Food is nice and affordable. I have been frequenting the outlet since 10-11 years ago.
Even though alot has changed, light the removal of the wings from their side dishes, and different ramen noodles that they are using, the volcano ramen still tastes great.

Ramen soup is a bit too oily. Somehow the ramen does not taste as good as years ago. The porkchop that comes with the ramen was good.
The kids like the baked rice.
Agedashi tofu and gyoza were good too.

Great set menu and pricing as compared with other ramen noodles shop. Sadly the standard drop, the soup was not piping hot, and the ingredients inside the noodleshad been cut.
