EAT. brings authentic Singaporean hawker cuisine to the heart of Compass One, serving beloved local dishes in a comfortable mall setting since 2006. As part of the established Fei Siong Group, this cozy eatery specializes in traditional favorites like bak chor mee (minced pork noodles), fishball noodles, and aromatic laksa that capture the essence of Singapore's street food culture. Located on the basement level, EAT. offers Sengkang residents and shoppers a convenient way to enjoy authentic local flavors without visiting traditional hawker centers.
The menu features a carefully curated selection of Singaporean classics, including their signature fishball soup, flavorful lor mee, and various noodle dishes topped with fresh fishballs and fishcakes. Their laksa has earned particular praise from diners, delivering the rich, spicy coconut broth that locals crave. The restaurant's eat-and-go concept caters to busy shoppers seeking quick, fuss-free meals at affordable prices, with most dishes priced around the .60 range. Current promotions include chances to win attractive prizes like iPhone 16 and AirPods with special set purchases.
Operating daily from 10:00am to 10:00pm at #B1-39, EAT. provides both dine-in and takeaway options for maximum convenience. The restaurant maintains the authentic taste of hawker-style cooking while offering the comfort and cleanliness of a mall environment. With delivery options available through major platforms, EAT. has become a go-to destination for locals craving genuine Singaporean flavors in Compass One's dining landscape.
I like their laksa but I have a complaint. When I ordered delivery or takeaway, the laksa gravy is packed separately from the noodles in a very small bowl. And they are very stingy with their gravy. The
bowl is barely 3/4 full. The gravy is hardly enough to cover the noodles.

I will never, ever patronize Compass One E.A.T. again - today marks the last straw and my final visit! If Google allowed zero stars, that’s exactly what I’d give, but unfortunately, even the lowest rating requires at least one star.
I’ve tarbao from this outlet five times, and every single time I received either the wrong order or food drenched in chilli, despite specifically requesting otherwise. This evening was no different. I ordered 2 Bak Chor Mee with ketchup and absolutely no chilli because my family and I do not eat spicy food. What did we get? Both bowls covered in chilli.
My elderly mother even tried rinsing the noodles with hot water to salvage them, but they were still unbearably spicy. In the end, both bowls - meant for our dinner - were thrown into the rubbish bin. We were left with no choice but to cook instant noodles for dinner instead.
To make things worse, when I placed an additional order — a bowl of fish dumpling soup with Mee Kia, added 2 more shrimp dumplings, and requested for the soup to be packed separately — the cashier in a black T-shirt gave me an impatient look. I almost shook my head. It was just 3 bowls, and yet I could feel the irritation. Seriously? If handling three simple orders already puts you in a mood, then what kind of service attitude is that?
This is not just a one-off mistake - it's a pattern of repeated carelessness and a complete lack of attention to customer instructions. Zero attention to detail, zero accountability - hence, a ZERO star review from me. Completely disappointed to the max.

I visited this restaurant recently and was quite disappointed by the experience. When placing my order, the staff seemed rather cold and unwelcoming.
After ordering, I went to get some chili sauce and utensils, and noticed there were quite a number of small white bugs in the chili container. I brought this to the staff’s attention, but unfortunately, they just smiled and didn’t offer any explanation or action. They continued speaking in their own language (Vietnamese), which made me feel quite ignored as a customer.
I believe there’s room for improvement in both hygiene and customer service. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously for the betterment of the dining experience.

the portion has definitely become smaller over the years......was given a total of 3 tofu puffs for their SGD6.00 laksa...and they gave half a portion of laksa gravy in the small takeaway bowl and i had to request for more gravy.....

Staff is not service oriented. Had to repeat my orders twice because they were too busy talking among themselves.
After ordering, I had to wait longer for my prawn dumplings because they just wanted to clear the noodle orders first.
I also noticed the staff handling raw food without gloves.
And no one is interested in clearing the return tray shelf.

For a very long time I didn't patronise . Today, I was very disappointed. They have changed from plate to bowl for satay bee Hoon serving. The sauce was watery diluted. Initially I thought they were serving Mee rubus. Is this satay bee hoon from a different country?

I bought Set A (fishball noodles and coffee) for $5 + $0.50 takeaway charge. It’s quite a good deal in present day context. The noodles is good but the coffee needs improvement. Somehow the one in Clementi Mall serves better coffee than this one. Ordered kopi gao siew dai but tasted like bland coffee.

Pathetic portion size...1/4 of bowl..Cost 5.30...portion like for kids.

Very poor and unreasonable service. I order yellow noodle laksa and requested to have the gravy pack separately. The gravy was packed with a much smaller container vs the container used to hold the noodle. With that, the staff only fill the small container with less than half gravy. When i feedback that the gravy will not be enough for the noodle, the staff insisted is enough. Only after I firmly insisted, then he unwillingly added a bit more. Worse, his colleague who helped to pack unhappily covered up the container and just left the gravy container there. I have to pack it myself into the plastic bag. EAT, I will believe that your service can be better than this.

The queue during peak hours are super long but the server is really quick at getting the food out.
I would say it’s great for a cheap and quick meal. Of course the price has increased as time passes, but I think it’s still relatively cheap as compared to many other restaurants in Compass One.
Probably my favourite meal after school last time.

Mee pok was just ok. Mee Kia felt like undercook, too tough. Ingredients ok. Seating space limited.

A clean place. I don't mind the atmosphere as long as it is clean. This is one of the clearer outlets. This outlet gave more vegetable vs some outlets that don't add in at all. Fresh cut chilli is very important for me. Good tea. A clean tray too. A wonderful experience.

A more 'ATAS' (premium) version of laksa as opposed to their Ding Ji counterpart. What I like about their laksa is their gravy are more 'Gao' (thick) and flavorful compared to their Ding Ji counterpart which happens to be under Fei Siong Group as well. However, pricing wise they are more expensive as it is conveniently located inside the mall (higher rental costs as well). Overall, I will say they did a better job procuring the same consistent taste throughout their E.A.T outlets but I feel that Ding Ji should bear the same recipe as theirs too.
