Hokkien mee for $6.80. from middle store. large portion. Slightly wetter than I prefer. Tasty enough though. Very busy in lunch. So must look for table first before ordering when coming in groups.

Paid $7.50 for what was supposed to be Putian lor mee, but got a soup noodle with barely ingredients, just two clams, two suspicious shrimp and almost no veggies. Hygiene was bad..both the cook and cashier had their thumbs in the soup when handing it over🤮Fried peanuts were served separately but soft, not crispy. Really disappointing. Not coming back, I rather go to Putien!

Horrible experience at the rice stall.
It's clear enough to be seen that for 1 vegetable and 1 meat, it cost $3.80.
End up, I was charged for $5.80.
I asked the cashier why i was charged for $5.80, and her response was, for $3.80, it is meant for different variety of meat and vegetables.
Outrageous.
Another way around to scam and cheat my money.
Do not go to that rice stall they will charge you at a higher price.

[REVIEW ONLY MEANT FOR HOKKIEN MEE STALL]
Bought Char kway teow, hokkien prawn mee and carrot cake from Ha Lou Hokkien Mee.
Tasted like rubbish. No standard at all. Carrot cake is wet and hard, has excess sauce as shown in pic. Hokkien mee and ckt is really rubbish as well, it just doesn’t taste like what the dish is supposed to taste like.
Queue is long but cook is using phone, allows others to cut queue right in front of him. Saw him pack for another person, but didn’t close the lid properly, with the hokkien mee dropping out.
Will never patronise again. Hope it closes soon to make room for new stall.

Terrible place, never never never come back for breakfast gathering again!
I came to this kopitiam at 9am this morning, but to my surprise, the air-conditioning was not turned on until 10am. It was extremely stuffy and uncomfortable inside, making the whole experience very unpleasant. I find it hard to understand why a makan place that's open to customers would delay turning on the air-conditioning. With such poor service, I honestly don’t think I’ll return in the future.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience at your establishment. I have visited your outlet on several occasions, and unfortunately, I have consistently encountered poor service, particularly from a staff member named Li Mei Ling (as indicated on the receipt).
During my most recent visit, I ordered the croissant set, which was shown in the menu display with eggs. However, when I approached the counter to inquire about the missing egg, I was told abruptly that eggs are not included in the croissant set. This was both confusing and disappointing, as the visual representation clearly suggested otherwise.
More concerning was the attitude of the staff. Ms. Li Mei Ling responded rudely and dismissively, making the entire interaction uncomfortable. Her manner was unprofessional and unwelcoming, and this has unfortunately been a recurring issue on previous visits as well. As a paying customer, I believe that basic courtesy and respectful service should be standard practice.
This experience left me feeling extremely disappointed and frustrated, and it negatively impacted my day. I hope that you take this feedback seriously and look into the matter to ensure that such behavior is addressed, and clearer information is provided regarding your menu items.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.

We were excited to see the Kopitiam reopened and cant wait to visit again but it is overly crowded most of the time. We decided to visit earlier and before the lunch crowd but it is equally packed. Seats arrangement is also very unfriendly for elderly and kids. We will likely avoid this food court for the time being.

Review for Sheng Jian Bao store - beef fried rice at $8 only has 4-5 thin slices of beef, double checked with the store to see if it’s normal and they confirmed it to be.

The bowl of vinegar pork trotters and rice is $11. Tasted quite ok, just not hot enough. Portion slightly little for the cost. Overall quite delish.
